Hi, I’m Jen!
As a musician, dancer and singing teacher, music has always been more than just a career for me - it’s a way of life.
From a very young age, I developed a deep love for music and performance. As a child, I won many dance competitions and singing eisteddfods, achievements that reflected both my passion and dedication to the arts. In dance, I proudly won the Under 6’s European Dance Championships and was a finalist at the prestigious Blackpool Tower Ballroom — an experience that remains a special highlight of my early years.
Alongside competitive dance and singing, I was actively involved in local drama clubs and had the opportunity to perform on the Hippodrome stage. These formative experiences nurtured my confidence, creativity, and love of expression, shaping the person I am today.
I’ve long believed in the incredible power of early musical experiences and the lasting impact they can have on a child’s development.
When I became a parent, that belief truly came to life. Watching my own children respond to regular singing, dancing around the living room, tapping rhythms on little instruments and exploring the piano was nothing short of magical. I saw their confidence grow, their listening skills sharpen, their speech blossom and their personalities shine - all through the joy of music.
Our home was filled with songs, movement, giggles and those special bonding moments that only shared music-making can create. It wasn’t just fun (although there was plenty of that!) - it was laying strong foundations for learning, creativity and self-expression.
Seeing these wonderful benefits first-hand inspired me to create something special for other families. I wanted to share that same joy, connection and developmental support with parents and little ones in our community.
And so, Tuneful Tigers was born! 🎶🐯
I carefully designed a musical curriculum that blends education with excitement - nurturing rhythm, coordination, language development, social skills and confidence - all through imaginative play, movement and interactive music-making.
Because when children experience music early, they don’t just learn… they flourish.

Sammy - Class Leader
Hi, I’m Sammy!
I spend my days making music, dancing, and laughing with brilliant little humans and their families at Tuneful Tigers, where every session is bursting with energy, smiles, and those cheeky, joy-filled moments only kids can bring.
I’ve worked with children for over half my life, caring for and supporting little ones (and their grown-ups!) every step of the way. This has never been just a job it’s my passion, my calling, and what I’m made to do. Over the years, I’ve worked with children of all ages and needs, training alongside wonderful families and professionals and SENCO as a former nursery Deputy Manager.
I’m also lucky to have an amazing family and friends, Full of personality and neurodiversity, they inspire how I run my classes: making sure every child and grown-up feels safe, understood, and free to be themselves.
I love leading sessions where children learn without even realising - where they can be noisy, joyful, silly, and completely themselves. I’m proud to create a safe, inclusive space full of fun, connection, and happy memories, where children make friends, grow in confidence, and shine in whatever way feels right for them.
